This is our Handgun Cleaning Course

If you are carrying a concealed handgun to protect yourself in a life and death situation, it needs to be ready for you in that time of need. Don’t fall for the rhetoric that if you buy a quality gun, you won’t need to clean it. The reality is that if you are practicing your shooting skills, you should also be practicing your cleaning skills.
We have been certified by Glock as an armorer and have inspected hundreds of guns within our agency while employed by the state. One of the most important parts of the inspection process was to ensure the Agent knew how to, and cleaned the weapon well. Not only did it enable us to better inspect the weapon, it ensured that weapon was ready to serve the Agent.
In this course, we will teach you how to disassemble you pistol to the condition called “Field Stripped.” Once it is disassembled, we will teach you:
- What to look for
- What to clean
- How to clean it
- Where to oil
- How much oil to use
- How to reassemble
- How to function test
and make recommendations regarding types of cleaning supplies to use.
