One of the first steps toward protecting your House of Worship is identifying the need, creating a plan and implementing it.
Maybe you already have a safety / security team of volunteers in place, but who trained them? Not every church has active or retired Law Enforcement officers at their disposal. Therefore, they find themselves relying on the concerned “Concealed Carry card-holders”. When considering a House of Worship Security team, it is important to know their credentials. These team members may need to make split-second decisions with many lives on the line. Having a plan in place, recruiting the right people and properly training them is critical to minimizing the casualties. Are you considering starting a safety / security team at your church, or refining your existing team’s processes? If so, let us help guide you on your journey and provide you with the training needed to keep your sanctuary safe.
The Sheepdog Project, LLc (TSP) offers professional insight into identifying the security risks and needs of your House of Worship. We will begin with the nationally recognized FEMA Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) process. THIRA provides a comprehensive, consistent approach for identifying and assessing risks and associated impacts. The results of this assessment will be provided with recommended steps for creating (or modifying) your personalized Emergency Operation Plans (EOP).
Once you have your EOP established, TSP will formulate a training plan for your security team. We are dedicated to provide you with the quality training you need. Moreover, the assurance your congregation has come to expect in your sanctuary.
If you share the same concerns as many other ministries across the nation, please call us. The initial consultation is free and we will tailor a training package to suit your needs.
The initial consult is free. We will come to your House of Worship and conduct a Security Threat Assessment, which will result in us providing you with a "Report Card" based on our assessment of your current security situation.
You may cancel this consult for a full refund prior to 3 weeks from the start date or you may reschedule for a future date up to 1 year from the original date of purchase. If you cancel within the same week as the scheduled consultation (within 7 days barring emergencies), you will forfeit your registration fee and be required to pay full price to sign up for a consultation on a different date.
