THE F.A.S.T. TRACK

(FIREARM AND SAFETY TRAINING)

This is a 4-Phase Youth Training Program with a primary focus on ages 13-17.

(There are no age limitations on this Phase of the course.)

If you feel your child is ready to learn some basic “Life Defense” skills, let us help you on this journey.

In Phase 1, the student completed the NRA certified SIMCO course.

In Phase 2 we continued the Firearm Training utilizing our Virtual Range. We put into practical application the Cardinal Rules of Firearm Safety while shooting on our Virtual Range.

This is Phase 3, which involves learning some empty-handed life defense techniques. This is a very basic variation of a Self-Defense course we offer to our adults. We want the student to feel empowered knowing that the gun is not the first option in an altercation, but rather the very last.

Phase 4 is the final phase and restricted to ages 13-17 (parent or guardian must be present.) During this phase, we will be conducting live-fire exercises to practice the principles learned in Phases 1 and 2. (Phases 1 and 2 are a prerequisite for participating in this final Phase.)

The student will receive a certificate at the completion of each phase of this course.

Parent’s / Guardian’s are required to read, print and bring with them the completed FTA-Altra Liability Waiver even if they do not intend to stay with the student.
